White Panel & Grey Accent Vinyl Siding – Two-Family Home, NJ

Full exterior siding replacement on a two-family residential property in Clifton, NJ. The project featured a two-tone design — bright white vertical board-and-batten panels on the upper gable and porch sections, paired with light grey horizontal lap siding on the main body. New deck railing and porch columns were also refinished as part of the scope.

The existing aluminum siding was chalking, dented, and had several sections that had been improperly patched over the years. The fascia boards showed wood rot and the soffit had gaps allowing pest entry. A full replacement was recommended to address both aesthetic and structural concerns.

Week 1: Removal, sheathing repair, and Zip tape installation. Week 2: Horizontal panel installation on all four sides. Week 3: Vertical gable and porch panel installation, trim work, soffit and fascia replacement. Week 4: Final inspection, caulking, touch-up paint, and cleanup.

The finished home looks brand new. The white and grey two-tone design is clean and modern while fitting the neighborhood aesthetic. The James Hardie fiber cement provides a 30-year warranty with superior fire and impact resistance compared to the previous aluminum.
