Stone Veneer Steps, Retaining Wall & Front Entry Rebuild – NJ
Project Overview
Complete rebuild of a failing front entry including new stone veneer steps, a retaining wall, and full masonry facade application. The before and after transformation shows a dramatic improvement from deteriorated concrete to a premium natural stone appearance.
Analysis
The original entry steps and retaining wall had severe cracking, spalling, and structural deterioration from years of freeze-thaw damage. A full demolition and rebuild was required using modern construction techniques with stone veneer cladding.
Process
Demolished failing existing steps and wall, poured new footings, built concrete block structural base, applied waterproof barrier, installed stone veneer panels with mortar adhesion, finished with tuck pointing.
Outcome
The rebuilt entry dramatically transformed the homes curb appeal. The stone veneer gives the appearance of full natural stone at a fraction of the cost while providing superior durability.
